This is indeed the type of comment and attitude we are getting from the Palinistas and the McCain campaign isn't it? Add a few more like "why don't you make me!" and we truly get to their basic attitude. Quite tragic.
Thanks for taking the time to put together a blog to comment on these issues. It is important to exercise our voices in public. I appreciate it.
Thanks Nacho, I'm happy you found the blog and added your comments. I agree, the basic attitude is tragic and has so much scary bravado to it. One can only hope that Palin's recent interview with Katie Couric opens some people's eyes to how ridiculously little she knows, one too many awkward pauses!
And thanks too Sheri, if we can't laugh we'll just be stuck in bed with our box of tissues...
I admit it: I'm an arugula-eating liberal elitist, and proud of it. So when Sarah Palin was announced as John McCain's running mate I was filled with abject terror. An obsession with leftist blogs ensued; now in an attempt to avoid an all-out nervous breakdown, I have decided to channel my own inner GOP V.P. in order to release some of my fear via humor. Here you'll find status updates, red-state inspired campaign speeches, and things by others that make me laugh or make me shudder. When a vice-presidential nominee is a joke, then jokes must ensue. P.S. I'm a woman.
